ARTIST STATEMENT

Ceramics play an important role in my material exploration of the encoding of personal and collective memories. The works move between tangible abstraction and recognizable figurations, including recurring motifs like bunnies. Often taking the form of archaeological, dream-like entities, I question linear notions of history and engage in collective myth.
